Providing volunteer service to  the Capital City since 1962...

The Frankfort Civitan Club has provided volunteer services to the Capital city of Kentucky since May 22, 1962.  They have reached out to those in need through participating in projects that provide holiday activities for senior citizens and persons with mental and physical disabilities, sports and educational programs for youth and persons with mental and physical disabilities.  They also provide food, money, clothing and companionship for individuals and families in need.  The list of projects and services grows daily as needs are defined.

The Club is fortunate to have a membership with an abundance of skills.  Our membership is made of men and women over the age of 18 years.  Some members are retired and others work full-time.  All members are appreciated for their hard work and effort in promoting the objectives of Civitan.  Each member is encouraged to participate at Club, District and International levels of the organization.  Participation in the organization provides each member opportunities to develop personally and professionally.

The Frankfort Civitan Club meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Shoney's on US 127 in Frankfort, Kentucky.  Club members gather at 6:00 p.m. to begin fellowship and dining.  The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
