Dallas Town North Civitan Club
has a long history of service to the
community. In February 1921, we
became the 14th club ever chartered
in the history of the Civitan movement
and we have grown up with Civitan,
dedicated to making life better for
our fellow citizens.
Today, at twice-a-month luncheon meetings
we meet to identify community needs and
plan activities to address those needs. In addition, we enjoy a lively camaraderie at every meeting and plan frequent club activities with no purpose other than having a good time – in other words, we play just as hard as we work.
Dallas Town North Civitan has a special commitment to helping the mentally and physically challenged in the Dallas area through fundraising, service projects and other efforts. Dallas Town North Civitan is part of the Heartland District. http://www.civitan.org/~heartland/ |
