| The Club is always looking for interested individuals to participate. Not only will you find new friends for life, but also a sense of community and awareness of need. While there are many good charities needing resources and manpower, Collierville Civitan Club concentrates on serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities. |

| Collierville Civitan Club members meet every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. While highly encouraged to attend all meetings, a commitment to the Club is not a commitment to attend EVERY meeting. The Board of Directors meets every 3rd Wednesday to conduct Club business. These Board meetings are open to all members. All meetings are held at Collierville Baptist Hospital, 12:00 Noon. |

The Club is part of Civitan International, located physically in Birmingham, Alabama. Their website, http://www.civitan.com/, has lots information for those interested. Check it out, you'd be surprised the number of dignitaries and famous people who have been Civitan members.
Club also falls under the Valley District which has numerous local clubs in Tennessee. Their website, http://civitan.net/valley/ is a great source of information, including applications for grants and scholarships. |
